Multimedia Inc., parent company of Morris Newspaper Corporation and
Morris Network, is among the largest privately held media companies
in the United States. Founded in 1970 in Savannah GA., by Charles H.
Morris, the company today owns and operates over 90 publications, including
five dailies, five network affiliate television stations, and other
media related ventures in nine states and the Caribbean. Headquartered
in the Historic Oliver Sturges House in Savannah, Morris Multimedia
Inc., continues to grow.

a humble start in 1970 with just two newspapers, Morris Newspaper
Corporation has grown steadily and today owns and operates over
90 publications in nine states and the Caribbean. These include
5 small daily newspapers, 31 non-daily newspapers, 4 arts & entertainment
weeklies and 29 shoppers.
A new emphasis on niche publications in the last decade has led
to the growth of a stable of 29 specialty publications in real
estate, automotive, gaming, tourism and the US Military. |

Network, a division of Morris Multimedia, owns and operates five
network affiliate television stations in Mississippi, Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee. These stations are:
UPNMS-TV (UPN) and WCBI-TV (CBS) in Columbus, Mississippi; WMGT-TV
(NBC) in Macon, Georgia; WWAY-TV (ABC) in Wilmington, North Carolina;
and WXXV-TV (Fox) in Gulfport, Mississippi; WDEF-TV (CBS) in Chattanooga, Tennessee. |
