OFFICE CLERK AND ASSISTANT

Morris Multimedia is looking for a customer service-oriented person with excellent clerical and communication skills for an office clerk position for the Corporate office of a large privately-held media company based in Savannah, Georgia.  

We are seeking a candidate who proactively participates in a team environment with active levels of communication and engagement, someone who enjoys helping staff and customers over the phone while also representing the Company as a friendly person to greet guests at the door, 

In addition, the position has been given varying duties to assist the President and the assistant to the President, as well as other responsibilities to support the accounting and H.R. functions.  These include assistance in planning, coordination and support for in-office meetings, organizing and facilitating outgoing express mail and other mail in general, responsibility for compiling certain excel worksheets and analyses for use by accounting personnel, and to provide support as needed for certain aspects of human resources and benefits.  The additional duties are not generally as time sensitive, and these tasks will give the individual exposure to different aspects of Morris Multimedia while filling the time not associated with being the first point of contact in the office.

This person must be computer literate, articulate, have very good writing skills and be professional with a stable work history.  

Experience with office equipment such as telephones, computers, copy machines, scanners and fax machines is required. Clerical experience and experience with the Microsoft suite of products is also required.  

The hours are from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday with free parking in the Savannah historical district.

Salary is commensurate with experience.  References required.
